The cognitive and social benefits of speaking a 2nd language are significant. Bilingual children think better, test better, and have advantages that last a lifetime. Phase3 is the only Montessori school in the area that offers full and partial language immersion.
You are an integral part of your child’s education. From the first day of school you will experience open and regular communication with your child’s teacher. You will learn how to bring the school’s rich learning environment and practices into your home.
The period from birth to three is the most critical in your child’s development and will impact your child for the rest of her life. Phase3’s Language Immersion Toddler program focuses on language acquisition, development of a sense of order, and independence.
2 ½ – 6 years of age is the second most important developmental period for your child (0 – 3 is the most important). Your Phase3 teacher will work closely with you to promote your child’s optimal cognitive, social and emotional development.
From 1st to 6th grade children become social and transition from concrete to abstract thinking; they learn best when they have a sense of belonging, autonomy and competence. Phase3 teachers prioritize a healthy classroom culture to maximize learning.
Children involved in athletics learn to work hard, to win and lose with grace and to recover from disappointment. No matter her starting point, your child will gently gain skills and abilities that will give her the self-confidence to tackle increasingly difficult challenges.
